Mundine does it easy by Ray Wheatley

Anthony Mundine retained his WBA super-middleweight title against rookie Pablo Daniel Zamora Nievas of Argentina at the Convention Centre in Broadbeach on Australiaís Gold Coast last night.
Mundine won easily, but after impressive victories over Danny Green and Sam Soliman, showed little too worry the divisionís top names Joe Calzaghe and Mikkel Kessler.
The Australian (75.5kg) was far too sharp and experienced for Nievas (75.9kg) who had never gone beyond six rounds in a brief career.
Mundine (29-3, 22 KOs) was brought to the ring on a throne and proved far too quick for the Argentine (17-2-1), toying with him and landing at will.
At times it looked like The Man wasnít even trying.
Only Nievasí big heart kept him in the fight.
On the undercard former rugby league destroyer Solomon Haumono (107.35) scored his 12th KO in 12 fights, blitzing Fijian Mosese Kavika (107.35) in the first round.
Kavika falls to 16-16-2 (10 KOs).
Haumono is being lined up to fight Aussie rules star Barry Hall.
Also, junior-welterweight Lance Gostelow, who suffered a shock loss to Guillermo Mosquera in his previous bout last month, stopped usually rugged Filipino Rolando Gerongco at 1min 57sec of round one.
Gostelow (63.75kg) is now 11-1 (9 KOs).
Gerongco (62.9kg), who boasts a win over former national champ Matthew Pauley, has scored just one victory in his last 22 fights. He is 13-26 (7 KOs).
Daniel Baff (81.75kg) dropped Fijian Paula Tuilau (81.5kg) three times for a stoppage in round two.
Baff is now 7-1 (7 KOs). Tuilau, who hasnít won a fight since 2003, falls to 14-18-10 (8 KOs).
Cruiserweight Jamie Withers (89.7kg) went to 9-0 (2 KOs) with a six-round decision over previously unbeaten Anthony McCracken (88.55kg) who drops to 6-1 (3 KOs)
Former world-rated middleweight Peter Mitrevski Jr (75.95kg) stopped the much smaller Clinton Simmonds (68.45kg) in round two.
It was Mitrevskiís first fight since a gruelling loss to European middleweight champ Sebastian Sylvester last December.
Mitrevski is now 17-4-1 (7 KOs). Simmons is 4-19. His last victory was six years ago.
Mundine sparring partner Peter Kazzi (78.05kg) went to 8-1 (5 KOs) with a four-round decision over Kiwi Colin Hunia (84.2), who is now 11-9 (2 KOs). Hunia boasts a win over New Zealand ironman Sean Sullivan.
Lightweight hotshot Lenny Zappavigna (61.9kg) scored a first round KO over Steve Storic (61.2kg).
Zappavigna is now 8-0 (5 KOs) while Storic has fought twice for two defeats.
Super-bantamweight Emmett Gazzard (55.25kg) went to 7-0 (5 KOs) with a four-round decision over New Guineaís Kartu Arang (54.85kg) who has had five fights for three losses and two draws.
