DARCHINYAN vs. BURGOS this weekend

(Los Angeles, USA: February 26, 2007) Australia’s best boxer pound for pound IBF/IBO flyweight world boxing champion Vic “Raging Bull” Darchinyan defends his world titles against Mexican Victor Burgos this weekend at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California, USA.

Darchinyan and Burgos spoke to the American media to promote their clash.

“Burgos just said he was training 35 days for this fight,” said Darchinyan. “I hope that is enough for him to be ready because I am ready to throw him a good fight and defeat him. I do not want to just knock him out in the first round and finish. I want to show the crowd and the people my skill.”

“Darchinyan is very confident he is going to beat me,” said Burgos. “He’s talking about a knockout.  Well, I don’t think he is even going to hurt me. He is in for a big surprise. Do not miss March 3. He will fight a real fighter.”

31 year-old Vic “Raging Bull” Darchinyan, the Armenia born 2000 Olympian and Australian citizen is trained by Billy Hussein and in winning two world titles to date in his career, has an undefeated record of 27 wins, 0 losses and 21 wins by knockout.
